As the founder, I am thrilled to share my story with you—a journey rooted in diverse experiences that have shaped not only my skills but also the collaborative spirit at the heart of our work.

I am a true Renaissance man, blending technical expertise, hands-on craftsmanship, and artistic flair to bring your ideas to life. My background spans construction, engineering, military service—including a deployment to Afghanistan—and innovative fabrication. From revitalizing historic Victorian homes through custom remodeling to achieving conscious competence in intricate carpentry that marries structural integrity with aesthetic elegance, I've honed a versatile skill set that adapts to just about any challenge. My electrical knowledge covers everything from basic AC house wiring and advanced smart switches to DC wiring for a battery-powered robot, while I am proficient in framing, concrete, drywall, roofing, painting, plumbing, metal fabrication, and even mechanical and auto body repairs. My passion lies in anything visionary that is hard to do, delivering one-of-a-kind custom executions across projects big and small.

Innovation has always driven me. As a young leader in the FIRST® Robotics Competition, I guided a team to a 3rd-place national finish on our debut, with zero technical glitches—a testament to my precision engineering and problem-solving prowess at a young age. During my military tenure as a combat engineer in the legendary 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles), I designed and built specialized facilities like an NBC supply room, set up secure networks, and transformed a hotel into our division's headquarters by establishing (NIPRNet) and (SIPRNet) networks, managing infrastructure and maintenance under demanding conditions outside my trained specialty of a combat engineer. A military injury shifted me to administrative roles, where I played a small part in overseeing the division command unit's administrative needs (including paperwork, of course), which sharpened my leadership and organizational acumen—skills I now apply to coordinate multi-team builds that converge on a single project, meeting tight deadlines, respecting budgets, and aligning every detail with your goals within human control.

What truly sets us apart is our artistic edge. I have done exquisite tile installations with marble, porcelain, and mosaics; custom granite and onyx work illuminated by LED lighting; sandblasting for artistic etchings; and repurposing salvaged materials into heirloom pieces like Murphy beds, jewelry boxes, or sculptural elements. I've poured concrete patios with stain, underpinned centuries-old homes for basement expansions, installed decks, and crafted outdoor oases with fire pits, water features, and ambient lighting. My eclectic experiences—from working in the paint department of Home Depot and an arts and crafts store, to serving as a bus-boy in fast-food and sit-down restaurants, to management positions fostering top-tier customer service, to operating heavy equipment, running a childhood lawn care business, power washing, sewing custom upholstery, organic gardening, dabbling in digital photography, and even PADI scuba diving—enrich every interaction, making the process enjoyable, accessible, and deeply personal. This allows me to easily relate while explaining and bringing a vision into life.

As a lifelong learner inspired by history's greats—Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi, Henry Ford, Nikola Tesla, and Thomas Edison—I draw from eras like the Renaissance, ancient Greece, and beyond, including even mythology, to fuel creativity. An animal lover at heart with an aversion to the ocean (preferring to stay "close to a tree" as much as possible nowadays), I approach our work with warmth and relatability, treating you as a true collaborator.

At Midnight Premium Designs, we thrive on challenges, from whimsical sculptures to intimate, personalized gifts handled with utmost discretion—delivering secure, one-of-a-kind results. We embrace transparency, even encouraging recordings of our interactions (in compliance with Florida laws) to build trust.
